Audition Dates
Monday, March 20: 7 – 10 PM
Wednesday, March 22: 7 – 10 PM

Audition Requirements
Submit headshot and resume to [email protected] for consideration. Please prepare two contrasting 16-32 bar cuts of contemporary musical theatre. Bring sheet music – an accompanist will be provided. Audition appointments will be scheduled on a first come – first served basis. For information on video auditions, please send a headshot and resume to the above e-mail address and notate your desire for a video audition in your message.

All artists are paid. AEA actors able to work under a special appearance contract are welcome to submit.

A musical comedy about faith, hoops, and chastity. Follow Lyssie and the rest of the cheer squad from Athens University as they refuse to “give it up” to their boyfriends until they win a basketball game. Red Branch seeks a diverse cast of dynamic singing actors with strong dance ability.

• MICHELANGELO “MICK” JACKSON – M, 20-29: Lyssie’s jock boyfriend and captain of the basketball team. Pop baritone with strong belt. B2-G4.
• HETAIRA – F, 20-50: All-knowing, versatile narrator. Able to transform froma courtesan to a provocateur to a madame. Solid pop R&B belt chops. E3-A5.
• ROBIN SMYTHE – F, 20-29: Bookworm and media maven with a closet poetry slam skill. Pop alto. G3-D5.
• XANDER LEE – M, 20-29: Liberal, light-hearted blogger and school mascot with a soft spot for bleeding-heart causes and Lyssie. Soaring, pop tenor. C3-G4.
• LAMPITO KANAGAWA – F, 20-29: Cynical. Cool. Over it. On it. Full of sass and ready to stand up for herself in her platform heels. Pop soprano. A3-G5.
• MYRRHINE MOORE – F, 20-29: Lyssie’s good friend. A smart ally unless you cross her the wrong way.
• CLEONICE SANCHEZ – F, 20-29: Another of Lyssie’s good friends.
• TODD “CINESIAS” STEIN – M, 20-29: Mick’s best friend. A suburban boy who has fallen for all things hip-hop.
• STRATYLLIS “TYLLIS” CARTER – M, 20-29: A tortured soul. Proof that having it all together isn’t everything.
• ‘UARDO CORTEZ – M, 20-29: Machismo personified.
• HAROLD – M, 20-29: Nerd personified.

• ROBERT KINCAID – M, 40-50: A ruggedly handsome, worldly, visionary photographer. Baritone with musical theatre belt. B2-A4.
• MARIAN – F, 35-45: Robert’s former wife. A musician. Mezzo with strong belt. A3-D5.
• CHIARA – F, 35-45: Francesca’s sister still living in Italy.
• MICHAEL – M, 16*: Francesca and Bud’s son. Rock tenor. E3-G#4.
• CAROLYN – F, 14*: Francesca and Bud’s daughter. Soprano with rock belt. A3-C5.
• MARGE – F, 45-60: Francesca’s neighbor. Sassy and nosy. Alto. G3-C5.
