Come celebrate CedarLight's 27th birthday!
Prayer: Coming home, back to center.
This rite is about the peace, wisdom, and protection that Manannan brings. This is not so much peace from war but the peace of mind that comes from coming back to center and releasing the stress.
The doors open at 3pm.
We will be having our feast in the afternoon with a later rite to coinside with the tween time of sunset. The grill will be available for folks who want to bring meats to grill. There will be pork in honor of Manannan's swine of immortality. Side dishes, fixings, and desserts will be needed.
6:30 pm Pre-ritual Brief
7:30pm High Rite
Offerings to Manannan are traditionally reed grass that grows at the water's edge, herbs from your gardens, and yellow flowers.
**Also we are nearing the end of our year-long tree planting drive. The goal is to plant 1000 trees! It only costs $2 through Arbor Day Foundation, so come on CedarLight, we can do this!
After ritual revelry will be dessert time!
CedarLight lives and breathes through the donations of the folk. The suggested donation for this rite is $10 in the brass bowl we call the Dagda's Cauldron. Thank you!
