Maybe you have already heard of all the wonderful benefits of meditation but don’t know where to start, or maybe you have tried meditating before but want to create a better foundation for your practice so you can glide to the next level. Whatever the case, this workshop series has been designed just for you.
Week 1: Preparation for Meditation. Learn how to utilize a variety of habits, exercises, and approaches that will prepare your mind and body for meditation.
Week 2: Basics of Meditation. Learn how to implement the two traditional styles of meditation — concentration and awareness. Learn how to select objects of focus, such as mantra, breath, sensation, attitudes, and images.
Week 3: Basics of Mindfulness. Learn how to extend meditation into daily activities by maintaining constant presence when eating, working, playing, exercising, and resting.
