Maitri Five Wisdoms is an interactive meditation practice
created by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, based on the traditional
Buddhist principles of the five buddha families. Maitri is a practice
of self-acceptance, awareness, and openness to sense perceptions.
We will use meditation, postures, colors, and open conversation
to investigate these energies in a direct and personal way. This is
open to anyone who has received meditation instruction at a
Shambhala Center. Pre-registration is required. Please visit our
Programs website baltimore.shambhala.org/programs for
further details and tuition information.
Participants must pre-register for this weekend event and space is limited, so reserve your spot!
Please note that Saturday evening will be a Padma event, which includes a meal, conversation and offerings including music, poetry, etc. This is an important part of the program, so participants should plan to attend if possible.
Please contact Lisa Wenrich ([email protected]
) if you are traveling from outside of the Baltimore area and would like assistance with housing.
