Health of body and mind are the basis for spiritual development. The word «svastha,» or health in Sanskrit translates to «stability in the self.» In this three week series you will gain access to a new way of seeing and assessing your current state of body and mind and ways to sit more deeply into who you are. Learn about major concepts in ayurveda like the 3 doshas (like the 3 humors), 20 gunas (main qualities of describing substances), Agni (internal fire of transformation and metabolism) vs. āma (toxic substance). With this basic understanding, we will cover topics which relate to diet, lifestyle, daily home practices, and meditation as taught through traditional Ayurveda. You will learn a way of traditional way of seeing that gives a paradigm for living in harmony with nature and individual health. No prior experience is necessary.
$65 for series (3 weeks)
