We'll be honing in on the culinary side of our German heritage this year. We're digging nearly sixty years deep into the St. Paul's Lutheran Church cookbooks to bring out German favorites like sauerbraten, sausage, dumplings, red cabbage, and more. We'll accompany that with great desserts (cake from Hoehn's), delicious German beer, and plenty of great activities for kids. Theore's no Ravens' game that day, so take a break from your normal football routine and enjoy a great time with your neighbrs.
We'll be using again the Haussner's famous sour beef recipe and are working to perfect it for the event. Genuine Highlandtown heritage coming back to life right here on Clinton Street!
This will be a wonderful opportunity for neighbors to check out our renovated preschool classrooms, to learn about the new school (opening January 2nd, 2018), and to meet our first director, Sarita Evjen! Plus, all funds raised from the event will go toward our final start-up costs for the school.
Tickets can be purchased online now at $20, and at the door for $23. Do us a favor and purchase your tickets now so that we can prepare the correct amount of food!
Kids under 6 years old are free. Kids 6-17 years old cost $10.
