Come drink and think at Baltimore's first annual Pint of Science festival! Each night will have 2 related talks from charm city researchers on everything from neuroscience to public health. You don't need any prior science experience to attend- these talks are for everyone!
May 14th is "A Night to Remember: Talks on Memory"
— Researchers tell us how memories are made and stored and how diet could affect the progression of alzheimer's disease.
May 15th is "Headlines in Health"
— Talks on two health topics that have been in the news a lot lately: vaccines and addiction. Local researchers in these fields give us the inside scoop!
May 16th is "Energy: it has no Mass, but it still Matters"
— How can we turn wind into usable energy? And what are "renewables", anyway? Two hopkins engineers will answer these and other pressing energy questions.
